This is a non-stop cavalcade of California cheesecake! Twenty gorgeous
porn starlets alone with their thoughts…and their shaved snatches! Each
woman is featured masturbating, as the title would have you expect, but
you only get a brief glimpse of their reveries, maybe four minutes,
tops. There are a lot of flying fingers crammed into this video. If
you’ll pardon the pun. The downside here is that not one of the women
actually climaxes. This is unfortunate for a number of reasons but can
be forgiven if the purpose of watching the film is to inspire foreplay.
The video does serve well as an appetizer to sex; the scenery is
stunning and the women are mouthwatering. I was especially charmed by
the wonderful Wanda Curtis. She does her thing in an office with a man
at a desk who appears to be ignoring her—for a while, at least! She’s
stunning and the sexy secretary scenario is always a winner. Kelly
Taylor is a hot little tart in school girl pink and saucy rhinestone
glasses a la Lolita. Her skin looks delectable! And Nicolette wears a
glittering red and black sequined mask for her scene, an arousing party
situation. But my favorite scene stars Katsumi. She shares her set with
a stunning male specimen who’s practically a piece of artwork. He’s
stationary and statuesque—literally—wearing nothing but a dramatic pair
of wings. It’s reminiscent of a famous painting whose title escapes me.
Gorgeous!
The end takeaway here is more artistic than masturbatory. I doubt this
will fuel many hardcore wanking sessions. But to set the tone for an
evening of lovemaking or perhaps project at a sexy party, it’s perfect.
There is no plot or dialogue to distract the viewer, just endless mood
lighting, beautiful settings, elegant ensembles and virtually perfect
porn stars.
I can’t help but compare this video to Betty Dodson’s “Orgasmic Women:
13 Selfloving Divas.” I’ve been reviewing Michael Ninn’s work for over
a decade now and I’ve always found his videos to be the most beautiful
by far. And while much of “mainstream” porn has moved so far into the
gonzo and/or aggressive realm, Ninn has remained true to his elegantly
artsy style. And “Soloerotica” is certainly stylish. However, I have to
wonder what the vision was. If you want to see female masturbation,
both “Orgasmic Women” and “Soloerotica” fit the bill. But if you want
to see female orgasms, you’ll be disappointed by “Soloerotica.” Of
course, if you want to see flawless females, you may be equally
disappointed by “Orgasmic Women,” as the stars of that film are regular
people, as opposed to porn stars. Perhaps it’s just a personal
prejudice, but I can’t imagine anyone watching 20 scenes of male
masturbation and being satisfied with absolutely zero money shots. Is
that because people don’t find the male body as aesthetically appealing
as a woman’s? It could be that this is too big a topic. Or way too
deep. Hm, maybe I’m overanalyzing! I suppose I could say “This is a
beautiful film!” and leave it at that!
